Ali is a Partner at Hambro Perks and is primarily focused on early-stage investments, investor relations and strategic relationships. Ali also leads on HP's MENA franchise including the Oryx Fund.

Ali is a former debt capital markets investment banker advising on various landmark conventional and Islamic debt transactions. He has worked on prominent deals with several sovereign wealth funds in the Gulf region. Ali began his career with EY where he advised on corporate finance structuring.

Ali speaks three languages and holds a Masters degree from University College London.
