George spent several years as Partner at Hambro Perks. Prior to joining Hambro Perks, he was an Associate Partner at McKinsey & Co., where he advised financial institutions and investors on transactions and strategy. Before McKinsey George worked as an adviser to the President of Liberia Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Tony Blair on the Africa Governance Initiative.

George has invested in a range of technology companies including GetGround, PrimaryBid, Quorso, Previse, Muzmatch and Fintern. George is a member of the VC Committee of the British Venture Capital Association, and a guest lecturer at London Business School. He graduated from Oxford University and holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
