During the month of March we ran a series of events here in our lovely space. Below we share more about them. If you’d like to run an event with us, please reach out via firstname.lastname@example.org.
Here at HP we are passionate about nurturing entrepreneurship, and our french friends at The Family share our philosophy. So we thought it would be fun to hold an event to bring together Fintech founders from within and outside our portfolio, along with other Fintech VCs from the ecoystem. Aris led this event, and it was a great chance to bring together the Fintech community.
In March we celebrated International Women’s Day here at HP, and took the chance to explore conversations with high profile female executives from across the industry at a breakfast event we hosted. Guests included ladies from Omers, the BBC and well known accelerators.
🙌WOW🙌 what an evening! We had a stellar line up including Kate Burns (Venture Partner @ HP), Pip Jamieson (Found of The Dots), Deann Evans (CEO of GoToDigital), Raphael Chow (CEO of WeVat) and Ali Qaiser (MD at HP). We had a fabulous moderator chairing the session — the one and only Andreas Kleinschmidt, a close friend of HP, alongside Jemma who pioneered the event. It was a huge success, with lively conversation, debate and Q&A.
We hosted first year students from London Business School to share all things VC and showcase our business here at HP. These events are always so engaging, and encourage good debate. They also represent a great source of talent spotting for future roles. The session was run by a dream team of George, Jemma, Jake and Eric.
