You will shortly receive the Information Memorandum for the Hambro Perks Co-Investment Fund.
Please contact us at email@example.com if you have any further questions.
Our Current Portfolio
The Fund will co-invest simultaneously alongside the broader Hambro Perks group, or where Hambro Perks is already invested, and will therefore benefit from Hambro Perks’ deep experience in supporting companies as they grow and create value. The Fund will only invest in companies in which Hambro Perks is invested, and investors will benefit from the group’s proprietary dealflow. This co-investment policy ensures that Hambro Perks’ interests are fully and completely aligned with those of the Fund’s investors.
After 12-18 months, investors will have a portfolio of 10-15 holdings in small, unlisted companies. These will be at various stages of development and across a range of sectors with a target holding period of 3-5 years (all timeframes will be dependent on the opportunities for investment and realisation that present themselves. Realisations may take significantly longer). Each investee company will qualify for EIS reliefs at the point of investment.
The minimum subscription into the Fund is £25,000. The Fund comprises a discretionary portfolio investment management service operated on a collective basis. The Fund Manager will make all investment decisions on behalf of investors.
This is a summary only, please refer to the Information Memorandum for more details.
The Fund’s investments will be in small, unquoted companies and these are inherently illiquid and carry significant risks. Given these risks it should be expected that some companies will fail, resulting in a permanent loss of some or all of the capital invested in those companies.
Enterprise Investment Scheme Reliefs
Every investment will be eligible for EIS Reliefs at the point of investment. In summary, investors may benefit from the following reliefs (please refer to HMRC for further detail):
30% income tax relief on the amount invested up to £1m (or £2m in some cases), either in the year of investment or carried back to the preceding year.
No Capital Gains Tax if shares are held for at least 3 years
Loss relief of up to 45% on the disposal of shares
Capital Gains Deferral relief
